A day around Yamashita Park

I think it’s nice to age gracefully. OK, you lose the youth, a certain stamina and dewy glow, but what you gain on the inside as a human being is wonderful: the wisdom, the acceptance and the peace of mind. It’s a fair exchange…-Cherie Lunghi

  1. growing old – ‘the wisdom, acceptance, peace of mind’. I’ve been struggling to write something that encapsulates all of these thoughts of inner peace – when the raging voices are finally quietened, the constant conversations with oneself are over – it’s not death, but at an unknown future time before that great event – maybe it comes with the sheer exhaustion of living – both mental and physical – a switching off before the inevitable. Anyways, thanks for adding those three little phrases and for the lovely pics.

  2. I’m gradually working through your posts, but if I don’t write a comment on each one it’s only because of lack of time. Your black and white images are amazing, totally of the place and time and I’m very envious of your talent!
